Thursdays at 10:00 – HIC Online Fikas in June

We may not be meeting in real life right now but we want to stay connected! A chat lifts our spirits and helps us get through the day, so we have arranged a weekly online coffee morning (fika) on Thursdays.

Sign up on Eventbrite and you’ll receive a link to all the meetings in June (it’s also the same as the one we used in May). If you’d like an email reminder for each event, be sure to sign up for all the individual meetings 🙂

We are using Zoom – you don’t need an account, just allow the application to launch when prompted.

Wednesdays at 10:00 – Let’s Talk: For Internationals Living Abroad

Are you worried about the current crisis? Missing your family “back home”? As internationals living abroad we find ways of managing the day to day challenges of living in another country and the lack of close family around us, but under times of stress these challenges become amplified.

Johanna Lundgren Coaching and Helsingborg International Connections have come together to bring you a series of interactive online meetings for the international community.

The series will provide a platform for the international community to come together to talk about difficulties, challenges, fears and wins. It will provide space for becoming aware that we all have similar challenges, that there is no need to feel isolated and alone or ashamed of those challenges. To create a safe space to vent your concerns and views. In a friendly non-judgmental way, the series will help you see what is available to you and find new and creative ways to solve challenges. To look at yourself in an organic way and serve the whole person (Body, Emotions, Mind, Spirit)

We invite you to join us live on Zoom (from the comfort of your home), on Wednesdays at 10:00 from 1st – 22nd April!

Thursday 28 March 17:45 – Tea Tasting Challenge!

Want to use your English skills, meet new people and learn something new about tea? Join the after work tea challenge – no experience necessary!

We’ll provide tea, sandwiches and friendly and a welcoming atmosphere.

The evening will begin with a brief introduction to tea from local tea sommelier Harriet Endean, who will explain what to look out for when tasting teas. In teams we will taste six different types of tea, make our own tasting notes and then compare what we discovered.

Right now she is testing life without sugar. She will talk about why everybody needs a side project.

Christian Altenius of Citypolarna

Citypolarna.se is a Swedish social activity website where you meet new friends at all kinds of activities. The concept is simple: invite people to join you for a “fika”, play some “innebandy” och get out there in the woods for some serious hiking at the “Skåneleden” 🙂 Perfect if you are new to a city – and if you want to practise your Swedish as most of the users are Swedes! With more than 200 000 visits at the activities IRL since 2006, Citypolarna has become Sweden’s most popular website for social activities. Welcome to “log out and join in” at one of the 250 activities / month!

Zenia Nielsen – Global Speaker, Author & Thriving Entrepreneur

“I believe that deep down in our core, we all are driven by unconditional love and we are all here to thrive, not to “fight and survive”. And my mission is to deconstruct life as it is, demolishing all of our fears and low frequency feelings, to unfold what really matters.”

We hope you can join us!
