Tuesday 30 August 09:00 – HIC Open Sessions Mindpark

Have you just moved to Helsingborg? Perhaps you’d like to find out about HIC activities, or maybe you have some questions about life in Sweden and don’t know who to ask. Welcome to our Open Sessions at Mindpark!
 
We’ll be there on the last Tuesday of the month from 09:00-12:00 to take your questions about living, working, and studying in Helsingborg. Just look for us at the big white table! No registration required.
 
Prefer to meet somewhere more central? No problem, check out the event list on the HIC website for full details or see Facebook for the dates of our Drottninggatan office drop-in sessions.

Open Space Mindpark is at Bredgatan 11, Helsingborg, close to the university and IKEA IT.

Tuesday 16 August 10:30 – HIC Drop-in Sessions Drottninggatan

Are you an international resident who has just moved to Helsingborg?

Perhaps you’d like to find out about HIC activities, or maybe you have some questions about life in Sweden and don’t know who to ask. Welcome to our Drop-in Sessions at Drottninggatan 7A, right in the centre of Helsingborg!

We’ll be there on the second or third Tuesday of the month from 09:00-12:00 to take your questions about living, working, and studying in Helsingborg. On Tuesday 16th August, the first session after the summer break, we will be available from 10:30-12:00.

Can’t visit us on those dates? No problem, you’ll find us at Open Space Mindpark on the last Tuesday of the month for our Open Sessions Mindpark, close to the university and IKEA IT.

Sunday 14 August 14:00 – HIC Summer Picnic

Join us for a fun summer picnic at Pålsjöskog! Our annual picnics are always enjoyed by everyone who comes and we hope that you can make it this year, too! We’ll have some ice-breaker activities and games to get you mingling on arrival, followed by the famous Swedish game of kubb! Please bring your own food and drink and something to sit on. 

Meeting place: The field next to the car park at Pålsjöskog on Christer Boijes väg (opposite the crematorium)

We’ll be at the large playing field next to the car park at Pålsjöskog, opposite Pålsjö Crematorium, where there is plenty of space to spread out. There’s also parking at the crematorium or on Romares väg. Public toilets are next to the parking area and there is also one at Pålsjöpaviljongen cafe & waffle house, 5 minutes’ walk away.

During our events we sometimes take photographs and short videos to share on the HIC website and social media. If you prefer not to be in any photos or videos, please let us know at the beginning of the event. Thank you!
