In addition there will also be a presentation by Graham Keating on the Swedish unemployment compensation system Arbetslöshetskassa, or a-kassa as it is known, and other areas of the unemployment compensation system in Sweden.

Some of the topics presented include:

  • Why you should join an a-kassa
  • How to qualify to be an a-kassa member
  • What are the benefits of being in an a-kassa
  • How long a-kassa pays unemployment benefit for
  • Other forms of unemployment compensation available
