Thursday 9 July 15:30 – Financial Support for Small Businesses during COVID-19

Welcome to our third online event, when you’ll be able to hear about financial and other types of support for small businesses at this time.

We’re delighted to announce our guest speaker, Rabie Salem, the CEO of Contentor AB, one of the partners in the project Stöd till Företag (Support for Business). Rabie will talk about Contentor’s collaboration in this project, which assists international entrepreneurs to access information about COVID-19 business measures in different languages. He’ll also share his personal journey and experience of the topic and give a practical perspective of the measures in place.

Rabie came to Sweden as a six-year old of Palestinian descent and has had an exciting career in economy, marketing, newspapers and football, in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. The notion of access to information for the foreign-born community is close to his heart, as he tells us:

“I am both proud and honored that we can be a part of this important project. We got the opportunity to collaborate with partners to help companies and make important information and support available. This is an important topic. When I grew up, many times I had to help my family and others to translate and understand messages from authorities. I’m happy that Contentor together with Setterwalls and Skandia can play a meaningful and important role in a difficult situation. Truly inspiring!”
