Helsingborg International Connections and Lund International Citizen Hub welcome you to an evening seminar on professional networking and the benefits of using LinkedIn. One of the tools used by many professionals, the online social network LinkedIn helps you “link in” with potential business partners, find a job, connect with previous colleagues, follow up on and store the valuable contacts made in your daily work life, and much more.

Our seminar will include hints and tips on LinkedIn, how to find interesting forums for discussion and ways of connecting with others with similar experience to yours, and how to grow your professional network.

Speaker Fairooz Al-Tamimi, Project Management Consultant and Enabler, will talk about her journey from brand new arrival in Sweden just a few years ago, to author, columnist, entrepreneur and facilitator. She will also talk about some of the obstacles she has had to overcome, and explain how networking and active engagement in her new surroundings have helped her progress to the stage she is at today.

HIC and LICH will give brief presentations on their network and services and there will be time for mingling between 19:00 and 20:00.
